| WTO dispute settlement |
| WTO dispute settlement mechanism is one of the most effective channels for settlement of dispute in international trade and its procedures include consultation, good offices, conciliation and mediation, panel report, appellate body report, compensation and suspension of concessions, arbitration etc. As a WTO member, China has to face challenge in WTO dispute settlement and also has channels for protection. AllBright has been assisting the training for WTO dispute settlement mechanism and conducting research on dispute settlement cases and assists governments and companies to analyse the dispute settlement mechanism. In 2005, AllBright has assisted Chinese companies to request the government to present the case to WTO dispute settlement mechanism and presured foreign government withdrew the unjustified decisions.
